What I Can't Wait For After This Lockdown

So with this lockdown across NSW, you start to think of all the stuff you wanna do after it ends. I know we haven't been in lockdown for every long however, I'm expecting it to last long then expected.

So I got to thinking of all the stuff I miss doing since the Sydney strain started, I started to think as well how other people are probably doing and feeling the same way. So, I made a list of all the stuff I can't wait to do after all this. I made this list to help me get though this lockdown and I thought, it may help others out there.

So here's my top 5 on the list:

1. Hanging out with mates and help work on their cars.

2. Long drive in my car, haven't done this for quiet some time as I thought with COVID it wouldn't be wise.

3. Car events, I can't remember the last time I went to a car event and seeing friends with their cars.

4. This one is like no.2 but is a little different, it would be so cool to do a  photo shot with my car, since the last time I did this the car has changed a little (but the way things are going it might change a lot).

5. Not car related but, on the day we went into lockdown and since then I have been wanting a strawberry refresher from Gloria Jeans (this will probably be the first thing I get to be honest).

I hope this list was helpful for some of you, stay safe out there.

Why I Go For Long Drives

Long drives can be a pain for most people however, for some, like me its something that helps. Long drives helps us in a lot of ways.
Taking a long drive can get me out of my head, its just me and the car with the music going. It's something that helps me in a way nothing else can, it calms the nervous while giving me the chance to get to know the car and all the little things about it.
For some its where they make the serious decisions in life, its where they decide how to mod their car or its a place for them to just get out and explore.
Others find it comforting to just sit in silence with the car turned off and think about all of these things, which is perfectly fine as well.
Just remember though to take care out there and don't push yourself or your car over the limit of its capability, stay safe out there when driving as well.

Why I Do YouTube

This blog I had trouble finding what topic to write about, there was just so many choices and I couldn't pick, then I thought maybe I should talk about why I started to do all this.

Ever since I was a little girl I always wanted to get behind the wheel of a car and work on a car. When I was 15 I got the opportunity to do work experience at a local motorcycle shop (I got told I couldn't work on cars but that's another story), and I would work every weekend and I was doing a course at school where I would work on engines, I absolutely loved it.

Its now 5 years later and I couldn't get an apprenticeship, no matter how hard I tried so, I got a job at a auto parts place. It was okay but it wasn't what I wanted to do. I then got very ill, while I was sick I thought I could be doing something with my life. While I was sick I watched a lot of YouTube, thought how awesome it would be to do that but didn't have a concept. In one of those grown up kind of conversations I was asked what doo you want to do? Then it hit me, I would make a YouTube channel about my car and what I do on it, with the thought of you only live life once so go for it. I spent 2 months getting everything up and running before posting my first video. I left my job so I could focus more on this project and I got a lot better in the process.

I have gotten so much support from you all and I keep getting little achievements complete on my car that I wouldn't have if I didn't have the channel, so in other words, Thank you!
